Emily Maya MillsEmily Maya Mills is an actress, comic and writer originally from San Francisco. She is a graduate of Emerson College and a writer-perfomer on her fourth UCB Maude team, Hot Mess. In 2008, she developed her first one woman show, “Hopefiend,” at the UCB Theatre in Los Angeles. With regular collaborator Brandon Johnson, Emily has produced and co-hosted several variety shows for the theatre, including “The Resolution Show,” “The Religion Show” and “The Freedom Show.” Other UCB credits include “Comedy Death Ray,” “Jeff Garlin's Combo Platter,” “The Charlyne Yi Show,” “The Brett Gelman Experience,” and many more.

Emily was recently named one of "15 up-and-coming comediennes you should be laughing at" by TheFrisky.com. Her project, “The Hairdos,” will premier at the 2010 Independent Television Festival this August. Emily has been a cast member of iO West's Mainstage Sketch Company and has starred in many theatrical productions at the MetaTheatre. She's also hosted promos on the Travel Channel, Game Show Network and Soap Net, guest-starred on “Derek & Simon: The Show,” directed by Bob Odenkirk, “The Ellen Degeneres Show” and “The New Andy Dick Show.” Emily Maya Mills once opened for Tom Arnold at The Laugh Factor for a USC sorority buy-out. She won.
